Server Repair Technician

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay: $29-$35/hr (DOE)

Shift: Day | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Overview

Hands-on server repair role focused on testing, troubleshooting, and servicing server and GPU configurations. This is not an IT role and does not involve board repair or soldering.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, mount, test, and troubleshoot servers
• Run diagnostic/test programs and review logs
• Perform A/B part swaps to isolate hardware failures
• Replace CPUs, PC Cards, and related components
• Upload logs, document work, and communicate via email
• Mount servers into racks; lift up to 50 lbs (group lift)
• Handle 2-3 repair cases per day in a noisy server-room environment

Requirements

• Server or hardware component repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills; log interpretation
• Familiarity with GPU server configurations
• Basic Linux command-line experience preferred
• MS Office and email communication skills
